how to depot eyeshadows or blushes...

i have some palletes (lil cheaper ones)which i dont like the package but i like the shades....so why not to depot!!!This idea crossed my mind many times in the past but the palletes look like they are solid  and  hard to depot. I asked a friend what method she would be using and she linked me her video.I then watched the video and altered the steps.
lets get started...
here are the things you needed

  • an old  pallete
  • regular kitchen knife
  • candle
  • another box to fix the depotted shades
  • glue gun

once you gather all the things you needed....
Now hold the pallete (you can hold with a pair of pliers for more safety)and keep it at a safe distance on flame of the candle. The plastic might catch fire if you keep it too close.

let it melt for few seconds
now you can poke it with a knife from back side or you keep the knife at the edges and pull it out

repeat the same with every shade n remove all the shades....
ta da!
depoted everything from the palette(i also depotted the other palette in  the same way )
you can arrange this on an used box which is handy for you

you can use your old compact case or a dvd case(as i did)  to arrange them
with the help of a glue gun you can stick them....

i will be doing an other post in detail how to make your own palette with dvd case,so stay tuned!!!
this is what my baby did with my lippies while i am busy doing all this!!!

here is the link for my friends video for depotting!click

  7. Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it difficult to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Many thanks
